Getting started
From your first demo to opening day.
Are Melline, Pawline and Glowline the same service?
Melline is our family of booking services. Pawline is for pet care, including grooming, daycare and boarding. Glowline is for nail care, spas and massage shops.
Each has a dashboard and setup designed for that kind of shop. Choose the one that fits your business.
Link to this answer ↗I’m not technical. Can you set it up for me?
Yes. Choose Set it up for me on your product’s homepage and share your shop details. We help prepare your menu, prices, booking settings and everyday customer answers, then send you a personalised demo to check.
You can also set it up yourself, one step at a time. Either way, you stay in control of what goes live.
Link to this answer ↗Can I try it before creating an account?
Absolutely. Open the Pawline demo or Glowline demo in your browser and try being the customer: choose a service, find a sample appointment or ask a question.
No account, card or WhatsApp app is needed. Demo dates and bookings are for practice; they do not reserve an appointment at a real shop.
Link to this answer ↗What if I don’t have a website or an organised price list?
That’s fine. Leave the website field blank when you ask us to set up your shop. Tell us what you offer, and we’ll follow up to collect your menu. If your website has a menu image or PDF, you can share that link too.
To get ready, gather your services, prices, treatment times, opening hours, staff and common customer questions. We help organise them; you check the details before opening.
Link to this answer ↗What happens between the demo and going live?
- Check and save your shop’s menu and booking settings.
- Create your account and accept the service agreement.
- Add your subscription card through Stripe.
- Follow the steps to connect your shop’s WhatsApp number.
- Complete a real test booking, then we activate your shop.
Your opening checklist shows what is still needed. Connection timing depends on your number and Meta’s requirements. Your 30-day free trial starts when your shop goes live.

Helpful replies, with your team in control.
Can I keep my existing WhatsApp number?
We check your number’s connection options with you before activation. Eligible WhatsApp Business app numbers can connect while you continue using the app. A dedicated number is another option.
The number stays yours. Don’t delete your app or move your number on your own; follow the connection checklist so we can help you choose the right route.
Link to this answer ↗Do my customers need to download anything?
No extra booking app. Customers use WhatsApp to message your shop, book a visit, ask a question or request a booking change. You and your team use the web dashboard on a phone, tablet or computer.
Link to this answer ↗What does the assistant do when my shop is closed?
Once activated, your assistant can respond to booking requests and everyday questions around the clock, using your menu, availability and shop information.
It only offers appointments allowed by your booking settings. A reply outside opening hours does not mean your staff are online or your shop is open.
Link to this answer ↗What happens when a customer needs a person?
Requests that need your team’s judgement are handed over for follow-up. Check To do, open the conversation and handle the request there. Your team can review the context before replying.
Add clear shop answers to help with routine questions. The assistant is not a source of medical or veterinary advice.
Link to this answer ↗How do I change what the assistant tells customers?
As the shop owner, open Settings to update your shop information, answers and booking policies. Use your shop notice for a short update, such as a holiday announcement.
Keep services and prices in your menu, and use shop answers for things like location, preparation and policies. Check the preview after making changes.
Link to this answer ↗Are appointment reminders and revisit messages different?
Yes. Appointment reminders are about a booking the customer already has. Revisit messages invite a customer to come back after a chosen interval.
Owners can set a shop-wide revisit interval in the booking settings. Pawline also supports service-specific revisit intervals. Marketing and revisit messages require the customer’s separate consent; permission to receive booking reminders is not permission for promotions.
Link to this answer ↗Menu & availability
Your services. Your prices. Your rules.
PawlineCan I offer grooming, daycare, boarding and transportation?
Yes. Select the kinds of care your shop offers during setup, then build the relevant services and categories. You can include transportation and optional extras where offered.
Grooming uses appointment times. Daycare and boarding use stay products and capacity, so check those settings separately rather than treating every service as a groom.
Link to this answer ↗PawlineOur prices depend on pet size. Can I use more than three sizes?
Yes. Set up the size bands your shop uses, including four or five bands, then enter the service price for each. Give each band a clear label so customers know what to choose.
If a published price is a range or “from” price, keep it clear that the final amount is confirmed by the shop. A price range by itself should not stop a normal booking.
Link to this answer ↗GlowlineHow do staff, chairs and treatment rooms affect bookings?
Available appointment times take staff and shared space availability into account. Your listed team can take all treatments by default; tell us before launch if some treatments need a specialist.
Owners can update these under Settings → Team, spaces & hours. You decide your shop’s staffing and capacity; there is no separate approval of your chair or room count.
Link to this answer ↗What is the difference between duration and start interval?
Duration is how long a service occupies the appointment. Start interval controls how frequently appointments may begin.
For example, a two-hour service with a one-hour start interval may offer starts at 10am, 11am and noon, but only when the required staff and capacity are free for the whole service. Set cleanup time too if your team needs a gap between visits.
Link to this answer ↗Running your day
A little help with everyday tasks.
How do I find a booking and look after that visit?
Open Today and use the day or week calendar. Select a team member to focus on their schedule, then tap the booking.
Choose the next action, such as finishing the visit, changing the booking or recording a no-show or cancellation. You handle one task at a time. Staff accounts linked to a team member start with that person’s schedule.
Link to this answer ↗How do I add a walk-in or a phone booking?
Use Add a booking from Today. Find the customer or create their record, select the service and choose an available time and staff member. Review the details before confirming.
This keeps walk-ins and phone bookings in the same calendar as WhatsApp bookings, so your team can see the day together.
Link to this answer ↗What should I do with the To do list?
Open an item to see the request and its next step. It may need a customer reply, a booking decision or another follow-up. Complete the action and resolve the item once it is handled.
Check this list during opening hours so questions needing a person do not get missed. Marking an item done is not a substitute for making the requested booking change.
Link to this answer ↗PawlineHow do I block leave or time when we can’t take bookings?
Open Block time from your workspace. Choose the staff member or whole shop, dates and hours. Leave the times blank for full days.
Review how affected bookings will be handled before saving. Blocking time and changing your regular opening hours are different tasks.
Link to this answer ↗GlowlineHow do I block leave or time when we can’t take bookings?
As the owner, open Settings → Block time. Choose the staff member, date and time to make unavailable.
Review any overlapping appointments before confirming the block, and arrange changes with those clients separately if needed. Existing appointments stay booked; Glowline does not automatically move them.
Link to this answer ↗PawlineWhere do I check pets in and out for daycare or boarding?
From Today, open the Day care & boarding board. Choose the date, then open the pet’s stay to check arrival, departure and the available actions.
Check the stay status before checking a pet in or out. A booked stay and a pet physically in your care are not the same status.
Link to this answer ↗Does finishing a visit charge the customer’s card?
No. Take payment using your shop’s usual method. Your Melline subscription card pays for the software; it is not a customer payment facility.
If your shop uses stored value or treatment passes, review any credit or pass usage shown when finishing the visit. Recording that usage is different from collecting a new card payment.
Link to this answer ↗Trial, billing & data
Clear answers before you commit.
How much does it cost, and when does my trial start?
Your first 30 days are free from the day your shop goes live. After that, the current plan is S$169 per month, including the owner and up to two staff members. Each additional active staff member is S$30 per month.
There is no setup fee. Review the service terms for your brand’s full pricing and billing details before signing up.
Link to this answer ↗Why did I receive an agreement email before adding my card?
Accepting the agreement and adding a card are separate steps. The agreement email records what you accepted; it does not mean your card was saved, a payment was collected or your WhatsApp assistant is live.
Return to your dashboard’s setup checklist to see what is still needed. Card registration is handled on Stripe’s secure page.
Link to this answer ↗What if I decide it isn’t for my shop?
The current agreement allows cancellation with seven days’ notice, with no minimum term or cancellation penalty. Contact our team to arrange it.
Your phone number and customer data remain yours. See the service terms for the exit process and the privacy policy for data export and deletion.
Link to this answer ↗Who owns my customer data, and where is it processed?
Your shop owns its customer data. Our application database is stored in the Singapore region. Message delivery, AI and other service providers also process information, so this does not mean every processing step stays in Singapore.
Read our privacy policy for the providers, uses of data and deletion process. Ask us if you need more detail before connecting your shop.
